Services - "Launch & Learn" Delivery Program
When a captain takes charge of a new boat from Surfside 3, it's our privilege
to provide a detailed lesson on the operation of the new craft. Surfside's
exclusive “Launch and Learn” program is a unique delivery process, allowing
boat owners to learn about a new craft under the guidance and support of
an appointed Surfside 3 “Boating Captain”, one of our resident boating experts.
Upon delivery, we'll take the time to ensure that boat owners understand
how to operate their new vessel, from the basics to the finer points.
In addition, Surfside 3 will be pleased to help new owners transport a boat
to their home port, either by land or by sea. Your vessel also will arrive
with a full tank of gas and will be outfitted with a Coast Guard boating
safety kit, courtesy of Surfside 3.
Our Launch and Learn Program was created to optimize the boating experience
for new boat owners, and to ensure that all owners develop a full understanding
of their respective vessels.
Personal Training
There are few experiences as exciting as a boat ride across Long Island waters. Truly, Long Island's waters are the area's jewel, and boaters are privileged to enjoy these waterways. But not all boaters are familiar with maritime regulations or local waters.
Fortunately, Surfside 3 offers boaters personal assistance in learning more about boating and local waterways. Our personal training sessions allow new boaters to explore boating on the water with experienced captains. These sessions provide an opportunity for new boaters to gain experience and confidence before hitting the water.
